Toni Schneider joined IPC in 2000 as Head of Operations where he manages IPC’s Upgrading Project, Certifications and Operational Surveys, IPC Tray Pool Services and IPC Sprinter Network.
Prior to joining IPC, he worked at Deutsche Post headquarters in Bonn, where he was responsible for International Quality of Service. From 1985 to 1992, he worked as Commissioner for Quality of Services, Letters and Freight for Deutsche Post and did short-term consultancies to Liberia Post (design and introduction of postal code system) and to the Posts of Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, India, Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong (for a UPU-project for safeguarding and improving quality of international mail services).
Mr. Schneider also worked as an expert for Postal Operations in a regional UPU project for South-East Asia and the Pacific, first based in the Philippines, then in Thailand, and later he served as a consultant to the Saudi Arabian Postal Service, setting-up of the Office of Exchange at the King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh. He began his career at Deutsche Post in 1973 and has held numerous management jobs in postal operations, organisation and planning at local, regional and central levels of Deutsche Post World Net.
