IPC Best Practice Seminar on Improving Accident Management in Delivery Offices, 2007
The objectives for this seminar were to benchmark safety management against best practice, both within and external to the postal industry; to use an audit questionnaire, developed specially for IPC, to assist posts in rating their current status of safety management against recognised best practice; to create priorities to improve safety management.

IPC Best Practice Seminar on Absence Management, 2007
Absence Management in the postal industry accounts for between 2 and 4.5 percent of operating costs and is a major issue for the postal industry due to labour intensity. It is a key element of business performance and productivity growth. Absence management is also an indicator of worker commitment, success of change, quality management approach and a measure of front-line manager control.
