Successful Conclusion of Salary Negotiations at Austrian Post

Agreement Stipulates 2.05% Rise (or at least EUR 43 Monthly)

The salary negotiations for the employees of Austrian Post have been successfully concluded.

Following several weeks of talks, the two negotiating teams reached an agreement stipulating a pay increase of 2.05% (or at least EUR 43 monthly) beginning on July 1, 2011 and valid until June 30, 2012. The wage hike applies to employees encompassed in the collective wage agreement, as well as civil servants and special contract employees.

Ancillary and fringe benefits, when applicable, were also raised by 2.05%.
