Principle Accountabilities
The job holder (he/she) will support the Director and the Intercompany Pricing Manager in preparation of, and during, meetings as well as in daily activities and member service. The Assistant Intercompany Pricing will acquire a thorough knowledge and experience of intercompany pricing processes and projects in order to eventually assume his/her own project responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Acquire thorough exposure to the intercompany pricing process, sufficient knowledge to improve management and analytical abilities, to chair meetings, and to manage own projects
- Plan and coordinate meetings, prepare meeting documents and draft minutes, assist in the preparation of notes, memos and correspondence
- Create and update documentation and keep track of decisions of Steering Committees and Working Groups
- Follow up on deliverables and coordinate with members and internally
- Circulate documents to the relevant recipients within set deadlines
- Assist and support members in queries and requests for information
- Keep the Intercompany Pricing sections on the IPC website up to date
Person Description
- The candidate’s profile: university degree attested by a diploma in a relevant field (i.e. Economics, Finance, Public Policy, International Relations) and relevant professional experience of at least 2 years
- Experience:
o Experience in providing administrative support including meeting support (e.g. logistics, preparing documents, slides, etc.).
o Previous work experience in the postal or logistics business is an advantage
o Previous work experience in association management is an advantage
o Knowledge and experience of international mail business and products is an advantage
- Skills & competences:
o Fluent in English (written and spoken, as it is the working language of IPC)
o Enhanced computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
o Proven record of working under tight deadlines
o Very good interpersonal and communication skills, stakeholder management
o Functional expertise (natural understanding of operational processes)
o Numerate
o Problem-solving attitude, quality focused and with sense of initiative
o Willingness to learn and acquire new competences
o Good priority management and organisational talent
o Able to work in a team and in an international environment, availability to travel
