International Post Corporation (IPC) is the leading service provider of the global postal industry that provides leadership by driving service quality, interoperability and business-critical intelligence to support posts in defending existing business and expanding into new growth areas. It is a cooperative association of 25 member postal operators in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. 

IPC’s solutions and services are used by over 190 posts worldwide. Since 1989 IPC has set standards for upgrading quality and service performance and developed technological solutions that help members enhance service for international letters, packets and parcels. IPC engages in industry research, creates business-critical intelligence, provides a range of platforms and programmes for member post CEOs and senior management to exchange best practices and discuss strategy. IPC also manages the system for incentive-based payments between postal operators. Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, IPC has positioned itself as a crucial coordination platform between posts worldwide and put in place operational solutions to ensure the continuity of cross-border mail flows.

Principle Accountability

The INTERCONNECT Relations Support assists the Head of INTERCONNECT in the process of user and user group management through:
  • Managing reference data for INTERCONNECT reporting
  • Release planning of INTERCONNECT reporting tools (change management and testing)
  • Investigation performance issues
  • Coordinating action plans directly with INTERCONNECT members


  • Support the Head of INTERCONNECT (for IOSC) and INTERCONNECT Operations manager (for IOWG) in the process of INTERCONNECT user group management
  • Support the Head of INTERCONNECT and the Business Analyst with the release planning process for INTERCONNECT reporting tools (change requests and testing)
  • Manage and coordinate reference data provision and submission (updates, changes, issues) in Master Data Management system
  • Support the Head of INTERCONNECT and INTERCONNECT Operations Manager in the process of expanding and extending INTERCONNECT services. Play an active and coordinating role in the MoU with APP (Asia Pacific Post)

Person Description

  • Experience with/knowledge of:
    • Basic Business Analysis, Data Analysis and Project Management processes
    • Postal, transport or logistics business (min. 3 years’ experience)
    • Postal operational processes
    • IPC reporting systems
    • The postal market dynamics (in particular e-commerce)
    • Dealing with user groups
    • Release planning and system testing
  • Degree (preferably in a business-related discipline)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent:

    • planning, organising and prioritising skills
  • Analytical approach to work
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
