2. JOB OBJECTIVE
- Undertaking in-depth root cause analysis of operational performance and data compliance on all postal services, with a focus on KPIs discussed at, and requests stemming from, the OUC (Operations Upgrading Committee) and IPIC (Interconnect Performance Improvement Committee). This being used to initiate and support Pro-active Performance Management (PPM) initiatives.
- Progressively taking up the compilation of Business Requirement Specs (BRS) and active involvement in monitoring progress, testing and deployment of new/altered/corrected system or reporting functions.

4. JOB DIMENSIONS
Key Outputs:
- Providing analysis and reports (pro-actively and upon request)
- Feeding analysis results back to internal and external customers
- Assisting in the creation of briefing papers
- Progressively compiling Business Requirement Specs (BRS)
- Actively monitor progress of tickets and involvement in planning and (re)prioritisation process
- Lead or assist in (as the case may be) in testing and deployment of new/altered/corrected system functions
5. AUTONOMOUS DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
- Provision of analysis (pro-actively, requested by members or internal customers) and responding results immediately after finalisation
- Managing ticketing system (monitoring progress and flagging anomalies)
- “Go/no-go” decisions in testing of new/altered/corrected system functions
6. RESULT AREAS
RESULT AREA 1:
Production of high quality, accurate and timely operational analysis
RESULT AREA 2:
Keep track of performance developments in postal operations in general, and those impacting KPIs measured for the monthly OUC and IPIC reporting pack in particular
RESULT AREA 3:
Thorough management of ticketing process within the PPMACs department
RESULT AREA 4:
Conduct robust testing of new/altered/corrected system or reporting functions
RESULT AREA 5:
Compile, increasingly and over time, robust Business Requirement Specs (BRS). This may start with relatively simple bugs/errors and, with expanding experience, the creation of BRS for Change Requests and projects

8. FUNCTIONALITY CRITERIA
1. Experience
Essential:
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Familiarity with Business Analysis, Data Analysis and Project Management processes
- Min. 3 years’ experience in postal, transport or logistics business
- Experience with/knowledge of postal operational processes
- Experience with/knowledge of IPC/postal reporting systems
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the postal market dynamics (in particular e-commerce)
- Experience in dealing with user groups
- Experience with/knowledge of release planning and system testing

- Degree (preferably in a business-related discipline)
