Driven by acquisitions made in late 2016 and throughout 2017, bpost reported revenue growth of 24.7%. The acquisition of Radial, completed in November 2017, added €202m in additional revenue alone. However, integration of the newly-acquired subsidiaries weighed on profitability, with bpost reporting a 4.2 percentage point drop in its EBIT margin for 2017. In 2018, bpost forecasts double-digit volume growth for domestic parcels; by 2020 it is targeting profitable volume growth of at least 75% compared with 2015.
