Aramex’s EBIT margin increased to 13.5% in 2018, the highest it has recorded.

Revenue grew 7.7%, driven by cross-border e-commerce shipments, which supported double-digit revenue growth in the operator’s International Express division. Despite an 8.1% increase in full-time employees, Aramex’s staff costs to revenue ratio declined for the third consecutive year. During 2018, Aramex launched a new cash-on-delivery service in Egypt, established a crowd-sourced delivery platform called Aramex Fleet in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and expanded B2B services through partnerships and new technology. The operator also completed the construction of a 3.2 megawatt solar power plant in Dubai. For more details, download the IPC Carrier Intelligence Report for Aramex.
