Driven by inbound deliveries from China, Australia Post’s international parcels volume and revenue grew 19% and 10% respectively in 2017.

From 2018, it aims to improve revenue and profitability for inbound and outbound parcel services through partnerships. The operator also recorded strong growth for domestic parcel services, with B2C volumes increasing 10% in 2017. However, weaker mail performance weighed on total revenue, with the operator recording overall growth of 1.0% for the year.
