Inclusion of full year revenue for recently-acquired e-commerce logistics subsidiary Radial drove 27% revenue growth for bpost in 2018.

Domestic parcels growth and other, smaller acquisitions also supported revenue growth. Acquisitions accounted for 94% of the increase in staff costs in 2018, with group EBIT falling 20%. In 2019, parcels and logistics services will account for a greater revenue share than mail for the first time. By 2022, bpost aims to generate 45% of group revenue from parcels and logistics operations across Europe, North America and Asia.
