Croatian Post reported strong growth in express delivery revenue and international postal services, offsetting declines in domestic mail demand and resulting in 0.6% revenue growth for delivery services in 2017. Revenue for its Express division grew by more than a quarter between 2015 and 2017 and the operator believes that express volumes could grow by as much as 30% in 2018. In order to capitalise on parcels and express growth, Croatian Post has rapidly increased capital expenditure in recent years, investing in parcels sorting automation and a new sorting centre.
