Deutsche Post DHL recorded 5% growth in total revenue for 2017, with all divisions contributing positively to the improved performance. The acquisition of UK Mail in Q4 2016 boosted eCommerce-Parcel segment revenue by more than €500m in 2017. Revenue remained flat in the Post segment, with advertising mail growth offsetting a continued decline in transactional mail volume and revenue. Deutsche Post DHL forecasts that its operating profit will increase 11% to €4.2bn in 2018, while the operator is targeting EBIT of over €5.0bn in 2020.
