Poste Italiane reported that all business divisions contributed positively to improved profitability in 2018, with the operator recording an EBIT margin of 14%.

Driven by a 17% increase in revenue from postal savings, Poste Italiane’s financial service revenue increased 3% to €5.9bn in 2018. Meanwhile, revenue for the mail, parcels and distribution segment grew just 1%, despite parcels revenue increasing by almost 10%. Through its Deliver 2022 strategy, Poste Italiane aims to capture a 40% share of the Italian B2C parcels market, up from 33% in 2018.  For more details download the latest IPC Carrier Intelligence Report for Poste Italiane.
