Between 2015 and 2017, PostNord reported an average annual revenue decline of 3%, driven by e-substitution, including e-government adoption, impacting Communication Services division performance. In contrast revenue for the eCommerce and Logistics segment has grown 4% a year since 2013. PostNord is looking to improve mail performance in Danish operations by restructuring mail and parcels networks and cutting its workforce, with the goal of achieving a profitable universal service despite lower mail volumes.
