Challenging conditions persisted for POST Luxembourg’s three main business segments in 2017. The removal of data roaming charges in the EU impacted telecoms performance, mail volumes continued to decline due to e-substitution and low interest rates eroded margins for POST Finance. The launch of a new logistics service to support distribution of goods from Asia to Europe boosted performance for the mail division in 2017, while revenue growth was also driven by a 15% increase in parcels volumes in the year.
