Despite seeing parcels and express volumes decline for the seventh consecutive year in 2016, SG Holdings reported a 2.3% growth in Delivery Business revenue. The increase stemmed from the launch of same-day services in Tokyo and growth in demand for other B2B services. Declining Logistics Business revenue was the result of challenging business conditions, offsetting higher transaction volumes in both domestic and international markets. Through acquisitions and alliances, SG Holdings will look to expand its logistics network globally from 2017. For more details, download the IPC Carrier Intelligence Report for SG Holdings.
