Thailand Post’s revenue continued to grow strongly in 2017, with parcels and express services overtaking mail as the operator’s main source of revenue. However, its mail volume continued to grow in the year, with sharp increases in domestic and international registered mail volumes offsetting a 0.7% decline in domestic standard mail. Mail and parcels volume and revenue growth has been driven by e-commerce, with Thailand Post reporting that around half of its revenue is generated by the e-commerce sector.
