European fashion retailer Zalando is now testing one-hour delivery in selected districts of Berlin and has started delivering parcels from its new international fulfillment centre in Gryfino, Poland, after the first construction phase was completed last month. As part of the new pilot project “Zalando brings it to you”, customers in selected postal codes in the districts of Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg can now choose a 60-minute delivery time slot during which they want their parcels to arrive. They will be surprised with an e-mail in the evening and can choose a one-hour time slot either on the same evening or up to ten days in advance.
