Pošta Slovenije has been shortlisted for the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2026 in three categories, achieving one of the most important international professional awards ever. For three decades, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards have been among the most prestigious European awards in the fields of logistics, supply chains, digital transformation and operational excellence.

The International Supply Chain Excellence Awards are considered one of the most prestigious international awards in the field of supply chains and reward projects with measurable business impacts, innovative approaches and operational excellence. In this year's selection, in addition to Pošta Slovenije, the finalists included organizations from various economic sectors, including leading global companies and institutions. This year's finalists include globally recognized names such as AstraZeneca, Ford, Vodafone, Nokia, PepsiCo, Maersk, Royal Mail, NHS England, Waitrose, Boots, ASDA, DP World, GXO Logistics, CEVA Logistics, Swisslog and Zebra Technologies , which further confirms the reputation and international weight of the award.

Pošta Slovenije has been shortlisted in three categories for the international Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2026. Together with its partner Smartis, it is competing for the People Operations Award and The Customer Service Award with a digital transformation project for the contact center, which uses artificial intelligence and the PIE (Postal Interactive Assistant) voice assistant to improve the user experience, increase the accessibility of services, and allow employees to focus on more demanding customer support cases. A solution developed by Pošta Slovenije in collaboration with its partner Solvesall was shortlisted for the Peak Technologies Digital Transformation Award – Software. The solution enables the digitalization and optimization of the delivery process with advanced navigation, field data capture, and more efficient management of delivery routes, thereby significantly contributing to higher quality and reliability of delivery services.

The triple inclusion in this selected company confirms that Pošta Slovenije, with its projects, business processes and development policies, achieves standards comparable to the best European practices. The achievement is particularly important because it recognizes the areas that today decisively determine the competitiveness of modern logistics systems: people development, digitalization, organizational excellence and successful change management.

"The inclusion of Pošta Slovenije among the finalists in three categories of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards represents an important international recognition for the entire Pošta Slovenije group. It confirms that we are successfully implementing business and technological transformation and building the logistics society of the future. We are particularly proud that the international professional community has recognized our development approach, which is based on connecting knowledge, innovation and cooperation with advanced technological partners. We believe that the greatest development breakthroughs are created in an open ecosystem of cooperation, which is why, together with the companies Smartis and Solvesall, we are developing solutions that create new standards of efficiency, user experience and organizational excellence," said Marko Cegnar, General Director of Pošta Slovenije. He added: "We are proud to be in the company of some of the world's most prestigious companies and organizations on this occasion. This recognition is primarily a recognition of our employees, their knowledge, dedication and willingness to change. At the same time, it confirms that solutions that meet the highest international standards in terms of quality, ambition and results can also be created in Slovenia . "

The Supply Chain Excellence Awards are organized by the professional logistics community under the auspices of Logistics Manager , and the finalists and award winners are decided by an independent international committee of experts with extensive experience in the fields of logistics, supply chains, manufacturing, purchasing, technology and business transformation.

Being among the finalists in three categories represents an important international confirmation of Pošta Slovenije's development strategy and its focus on sustainable growth, digitalization, employee development and the introduction of innovative business models. At a time when the success of logistics systems is increasingly determined by data, technology and the ability to quickly adapt to change, Pošta Slovenije proves that it is among the organizations that are actively co-creating the future of European logistics.
