In light of the fires affecting the Gironde and Landes regions, La Poste Group reiterates the measures implemented for affected employees. These measures include maintaining 100% of their salary, providing individualized support, and adapting their work schedules. The company is committed to supporting impacted employees while ensuring the continuity of its services.

In response to the fires affecting the Gironde and Landes regions, the La Poste Group has implemented specific measures to support impacted employees. The company guarantees, in particular, that their salaries will be maintained at 100%, preserves previously scheduled leave, and has established a structured system for making up some of the hours not worked, all while ensuring the continuity of its mail and parcel delivery services.

Enhanced support for affected employees
In response to this exceptional situation, the La Poste Group has implemented specific measures to support affected employees. Leave already scheduled has not been affected, and no employee has been forced to take unplanned paid leave. The company also guarantees that impacted employees will receive 100% of their salary, exceeding legal requirements.

Furthermore, individualized support is provided in order to take into account the situations encountered in the field and to provide responses adapted to the needs of each individual.

Reconciling employee support and service continuity
In this context of force majeure, the La Poste Group is committed to reconciling the support of its employees with the continuation of its mail and parcel distribution activities.

Some of the hours not worked can be made up. Making up hours lost due to the fires is limited to a maximum of two days, depending on the site, or up to 14 hours, at a rate of one additional hour per day. Employees who were on leave or sick leave at the time of the fires are not eligible for this arrangement.

This mobilization reflects La Poste's desire to support postal workers affected by the fires while meeting the needs of individuals, businesses and communities awaiting their mail and parcels during this difficult period.
