Strong growth for parcels was more than offset by declines for mail, logistics, financial and retail services, with total revenue dropping 0.3% in the year.

Parcels accounted for close to 60% of the post’s revenue in 2020, having grown 11% in the year. Correios Brasil benefitted from increased domestic and cross-border e-commerce demand, with new service launches targeting these sectors. Meanwhile, mail volumes fell by close to a third, with total mail revenue down by a quarter despite significant rate increases implemented early in the year.
