The 7th quarterly online comms workshop took place on 22 March 2022 with over 20 postal experts from 11 posts. Coinciding with the International Women’s Day on 8 March and the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 21 March, the workshop was very timely. Gender equality is of course only one element of Diversity and Inclusion. Diversity also focuses on interculturalism, age, disability, sexual orientation, etc. The purpose of this workshop was to exchange information on the policies in place within our member posts, how to communicate about the policies both internally and externally and ultimately on how companies like posts, through their own policies, can promote diversity throughout the society as a whole.
Speakers included Claire Godding, Senior Expert on Diversity and Inclusion and Societal Needs, at Febelfin, who shared her experience of working to promote diversity in the finance sector; Mads Boelt, HR consultant at PostNord, and Paola Romito, People Care and Diversity Manager, Poste Italiane.
