The year 2022 has sadly been marked by the start of the war in Ukraine and by renewed uncertainty. Data released in 2022 has indicated a reduction in growth for the postal sector after a strong growth in 2021 marked by the post-Covid recovery. Although e-commerce continues to boom, the pace of growth has been slowing down as a result of the energy and cost of living crisis. Throughout the year, IPC pursued the coordination calls with over 50 posts in Europe and beyond, initiated during the Covid-19 pandemic, to help ensuring the continuity of mail flows despite the war in Ukraine.
