Holger Winklbauer, IPC CEO, awarded a Certificate of Excellence in the management and processing of international priority products, to the two Roissy postal facilities, HUB and PIAC, on 27 October. Both Roissy HUB and Roissy PIAC are now certified until September 2024 and April 2025 respectively.

The certification is the result of a thorough process.  The IPC certificate encourages postal operators to strive for excellence and fosters improvements, which benefit postal customers. Certificates are given in recognition of the management and staff, working in an international site, providing an excellent service quality through engagement and efficient processes.

The assessment also reviews: Quality, cleanliness, safety, security and signage within an OE facility. The main criteria for assessment relate to topics such as: work organisation, quality management, communication and interface with domestic networks, airlines, ground handlers, IPC and IPC partner postal operators. The two Roissy facilities were recognised for their operational excellence strategy and the use of innovative solutions.

So far, 25 offices of exchange in total have a valid Certificate of Excellence. Three more facilities have to complete their assessment this year and already 12 offices of excellence are waiting for their certification next year.
