    General description:
  • The CM tool is designed to facilitate a detailed analysis of the operational performance of leg 2 (international transportation) in order to identify possible causes for issues, gaps of performance and visibility and to come up with possible actions to improve it. The CM tool is developed on the Business Intelligence platform of IPC. The CM reports are presented in a structured way, with a high-level dashboard to analyse overall trends, from which the user can drill down to more detailed views aiming at providing different perspectives on the data, that will facilitate the identification of root causes for low performance. 

    The tool provides KPIs views on EDI-based visibility (available data elements to measure performance) and the performance of the consignments that can be measured. 
  • Objective of the session:
  • To explain in detail the business rules applied in the calculation of the metrics presented on the reports (visibility, performance)
  • To present the general structure of the reports and views, drilling down, and drill through to ATAT
  • To analyse one or several concrete examples of performance metrics, and identify root cause and possible action plans
  • To provide with useful tips on the use of the CM tool, such as export, scheduling, saving views/prompts, etc.
