    General description:
  • CFS (Capacity Forecasting Solution) is an end-to-end solution designed to assist posts and carriers in the transport planning and management of postal consignments. • Create short-term Forecast Requests based on long-term Forecast & Actuals
  • View, modify and export the long- and short-term forecasts
  • Add/remove Closed transit functionalityUsers made aware of Notifications (via email)
  • Main benefits:
  • Apply the most suitable and accurate forecasting algorithms by including advanced mathematical and statistical tools. The algorithm will include a two-step approach:
  •     Long-term ‘trend and seasonality’ Forecast (Ideally based on 3+ years of historic data)
  •     Short-term ‘trend and seasonality’ Forecast (Based on a few weeks of historic data)
  • Provide forecasted values for both weight and volume and the possibility to switch from one to the other or to combine both to detect and report ‘behaviour shifts’ in market conditions
  • Ensure that the Peak Period specificities in terms of forecasting are covered
