What does this Privacy Policy cover?

This Privacy Policy covers our processing of your Personal Data that we gather when you are accessing or using our Websites or Services (such as on our discussion forum, registration to our newsletter and other publications, creating an account on our Services, using our tools and applications) or when you contact or interact with us in any manner. We gather various types of data, including data that identifies you as an individual (“Personal Data”) from our users, as explained in more detail below. When you use the Website: We may collect any Personal Data that you choose to send to us or provide to us, for example, on our “Contact Us” form or if you register to participate in our Forum. If you contact us through the Website, we may keep a record of our correspondence.

When you use the Services: We receive and store data you provide directly to us. For example, when setting up as a new user, we collect Personal Data, such as name and e-mail address, to provide them with Services. 

When you provide your services to us (as contractor, consultant, business partner…) : we process your Personal Data above, including information about your contract with us, the services performance, billing and invoicing.

When you apply for employment opportunities with us: we may collect your Personal Data above, including your professional qualifications and experience, skills, preferences, motivation, interests, and any information that may typically be found on a curriculum vitae as part of the recruitment process.

When you otherwise interact with us in relation to our business activities : in particular when you interact with us and participate to our business activities as representative of IPC members, customer, suppliers, contractors, consultants and others, we may process your Personal Data above, in particular about your participation to IPC meetings, seminars and services and your interactions with us in this context.

When you visit the Website, we may collect certain data related to your device, such as your device’s IP address, referring website, what pages your device visited, and the time that your device visited our Website. The processing of your personal data is performed to provide you with the services for which you have registered with us (e.g. to process your requests for information and/or comments on our services; for asking your feedback about your experience of our services, and, in the measure that you allow it, to inform you about services in which you are likely to be interested (e.g. to receive news updates from us).

In some parts of the site, various technologies are used which are in widespread use on the Internet (e.g. Flash, Active X, JavaScript, ...). Please refer to our Cookies Policy for a description of our use of cookies and underlying collection of personal data.

We do not use any technology to spy on or manipulate your data or your computer. The technologies used are protected by various laws. Access to this Website does not grant the user any licence whatever to use these technologies.

In addition, we may use Artificial Intelligence ("AI") technology to support the processing of Personal Data for the purposes referred to in this Privacy Policy. All such AI technology is subject to robust prior screening to ensure that it meets applicable ethical, legal and contractual requirements including in respect of data privacy and information security. We have adopted appropriate policies and training for our workforce governing responsible use of AI technology to ensure that Personal Data remains adequately protected. We use appropriate technical, organizational and administrative security measures to protect any information we hold in our records from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. • The right to rectification – You have the right, free of charge, to request that IPC corrects or completes information you believe is inaccurate. 
• The right to erasure – You have the right to request that IPC erases your Personal Data. If you ask us to delete your Personal Data, we will use our best efforts to promptly delete all of your Personal Data and cease any use thereof,. Please note that we may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
• The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that IPC restricts the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
• The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to IPC processing of your personal data, under certain conditions, including the right to object, upon request and free of charge, to the processing of Personal Data for direct marketing purposes.The right to data portability – You have the right to request that IPC transfers your personal data that IPC holds to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
• Where the processing of your Personal Data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing prior to withdrawal of the consent.

You can opt-out of receiving promotional or marketing communications from us at any time, by using the unsubscribe link in the emails communications we send or by contacting us at [email protected] .

Children

We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data from anyone under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not attempt to register or send any Personal Data about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a child under age 16, we will delete that data as quickly as possible.
