We are looking for an Operations Solutions Expert - Customs to join our Operations Solutions Department as part of our growing e-commerce team.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of global customs and trade policies and procedures and will work with the world’s leading posts to turn trade policy into postal opportunity by defining new solutions and documenting specific business and technical requirements to move from ideation to delivery.  This role offers the opportunity to develop as a thought leader and subject matter expert to both internal and external stakeholders.  

Specific duties and responsibilities (a day in the life) can include (but are not limited to)

  • Leading both business and technical working group meetings 
  • Leading strategy sessions with internal and external stakeholders to ideate and define solutions required to protect postal flows both now and in the future
  • Attending industry working group sessions (UPU, PostEurop, etc.)
  • Leading internal or external knowledge sharing sessions 
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to draft specific business requirements 
  • Work with industry partners to define mutually beneficial alliance models

This role reports to the E-Commerce Manager in the Operations Solutions Department.

Your profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Expertise and Skills

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
    • Customs and/or Clearance and Regulatory Process
    • Program Management 
    • Project development/management 
    • Strategy/Consulting 
    • Technology 
    • Logistics 
  • Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written 
  • Familiarity with MS Office, JIRA, and MIRO
  • Direct experience in customs clearance, regulatory policy, e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain technology
