Strong growth in parcels and other revenue offset declines in mail and financial services for Magyar Posta in 2020, driving a 7% increase in total revenue.

E-commerce growth drove a 20% increase in total parcels and express volumes in 2020. Domestic parcel services were the strongest driver for revenue growth. To support growing volumes, the post expanded sorting capacity at three sites, as part of its MPL+ infrastructure project. Meanwhile, business closures drove a 30% drop in unaddressed admail revenue in 2020. As part of a service reorganisation, the post halted unaddressed advertising publication delivery in mid-2021.
