At its meeting held on 24 September, the Supervisory Board of Omniva (AS Eesti Post) decided to dismiss Ansi Arumeel, Chairman of the Management Board of Omniva.

‘The decision to dismiss Ansi Arumeel from the position of the Chairman of the Management Board did not come hastily, but during our three-month cooperation we came to a conclusion that the organisation needs changes to move forward,’ said Sten Soosaar, Chairman of Omniva’s Supervisory Board.

Ansi Arumeel understands the Supervisory Boards’ decision. „We had a shared vision about future postal services with the Supervisory Board, however the cooperation in the details did not go smoothly. Therefore, at this point, it is better to part ways.“

‘We would like to thank Ansi for his contribution to the development of the company both as a Chairman of the Management Board and during the prior 15 years,’ Soosaar said.

Until the end of the year the duties of the Chairman will be fulfilled by other Members of the Management Board. All Members of the Management Board will submit directly to the Supervisory Board. Andre Veskimeister, Member of The Management Board, will coordinate the work of the Management Board.
