As of May 1st, Poczta Polska is introducing changes to its financial services offering, including bank deposits and money transfers. The new products will be available in two variants: Premium and Standard, differing in the time it takes for funds deposited at a post office, to a postman or via the Internet to reach the customer. The new offer, developed based on an analysis of customer needs and best market practices, is competitive compared to similar services offered by other entities.

The aim of introducing changes to the offer of financial services was to simplify the product offer as much as possible and to minimize the number of variants in which the service is available. From May, customers will be able to more easily decide which option they want to use.

Deposits to bank account

Previously, the service was available in three variants. From May, Poczta Polska will offer it in two options:

  • Premium Deposit – made in real time; funds are transferred to the recipient's bank account online,
  • Standard Deposit – funds will be transferred to the client’s bank account the next business day.

Poczta Polska guarantees the above deadlines regardless of the day and time of payment.*
* with the proviso that the Premium payment service is provided from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday; from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays.)

Payments can be made at post offices (Standard Payment below PLN 1 million, Premium Payment up to PLN 10,000) and from postmen with the Standard Payment (limit PLN 4,500).

Transfers

Previously, the service was available in four variants. From May, the transfer service will be available in two options:

Premium Transfer  – cash collection within 10 minutes of deposit at any Polish Post office,
Standard Transfer  – delivery of cash to the specified address on the next business day from the date of posting.
The transfer can be ordered at a post office, from a postman (option: Standard Transfer) and via the Internet (dedicated Internet service) - without logging in (single operation) or after logging in (a larger number of operations). Through the postman, you can order a Standard Transfer worth up to PLN 4,500. In the case of using the service at a post office and via the Internet, Poczta Polska does not introduce any amount limits.

The price list for bank deposits for the offered execution time remains unchanged, while the price list for transfers will change due to the modification of the product offer, but the fees for service execution will remain competitive.
