As of Monday, August 25, the Polish Post Office is temporarily limiting the acceptance of shipments containing goods destined for the United States. This decision was necessitated by restrictions imposed by the US government and air carriers, which prevent deliveries.

The restriction applies to the following goods shipments (until further notice):

  • postal parcels, including those with declared value,
  • letter items with declared value,
  • unregistered and registered letter mail,
  • Global Ekspres shipments,
  • EMS shipments

It is still possible to broadcast:

  • unregistered letter mail and registered mail without goods content (permissible content is only correspondence and documents),EMS shipments with documents.

Many other postal administrations in Europe have introduced similar restrictions.

The Polish Post Office will immediately resume accepting shipments to the US as soon as the situation allows. We are closely monitoring developments and will keep you updated on any changes.

We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience – they are beyond the control of Poczta Polska.
