Poșta Română announces the temporary suspension of the dispatch of postal items containing goods and EMS items (documents and cargo) to the USA (including Puerto Rico, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan, Tinian), Guam and Micronesia) starting with August 23, 2025, following a recent change in customs and tariff rules imposed by the US Government. The dispatch process for letter mail items (containing only documents) for the US destination is not affected.
The acceptance processes upon presentation will resume as soon as efficient service can be ensured for our customers.
