Lithuanian Post informs that from March 2, the sending of all items – letters, postcards and postal parcels – to the countries of the Middle East is temporarily suspended. Here is a list of the countries:

• United Arab Emirates
• Israel
• Jordan
• Qatar
• Saudi Arabia
• Lebanon •
Iraq •
Kuwait
• Bahrain
• Iran
• Oman

The delivery of postal items to these countries is being suspended due to military operations that have begun in the region - air delivery of items has become impossible, and logistics companies transporting items by air have informed about the cancellation of flights.

Lithuanian Post will inform you separately about the exact date when the delivery of postal items to the aforementioned countries will be resumed.

Parcels that have been accepted from senders but not yet sent abroad will be returned to senders. The latter should apply for a refund of shipping costs by filling out the refund form available at  https://www.post.lt/lt/rasykite-mums

Shipments that have already left Lithuania will be delivered as soon as possible, however, due to the changing situation, delays or delivery disruptions may occur.
