POST Luxembourg announces the appointment of Marie Bourlond as Director in charge of Risk and Compliance activities and member of the Executive Committee, effective 15 July 2026, subject to the approval of the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).

This appointment marks a first for the Group and reflects POST’s determination to further strengthen its governance framework in an increasingly demanding regulatory environment.

With more than 25 years of experience in the fields of compliance, risk management and governance, Marie Bourlond joins POST Luxembourg following a long career at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), where she had held the position of Group Chief Compliance Officer since 2012.

She has led numerous regulatory transformation programmes, notably in the areas of data protection, anti-money laundering, and more broadly in internal control. She is also Co President of the Association Luxembourgeoise des Compliance Officers (ALCO).

“The appointment of Marie Bourlond to POST’s Executive Committee reflects our strong commitment to embedding Risk and Compliance at the highest level of the Group’s governance. In an increasingly regulated environment and in light of heightened expectations for exemplary conduct, this decision strengthens our ability to anticipate, manage and support the long-term challenges faced by POST as a public institution and a key player in national infrastructure”, said Claude Strasser, General Director of POST Luxembourg.

Marie Bourlond will be tasked with structuring and consolidating the Group’s risk management and compliance framework, in close alignment with its strategy, business activities and applicable regulatory requirements.

“Joining POST Luxembourg represents a strong commitment to serving an emblematic group at the heart of the country’s public-interest missions. The sustainable performance of a public institution relies on rigorous governance, proactive risk management and a responsible approach to compliance, in the service of citizens, customers and employees”, emphasised Marie Bourlond.
