Omniva will begin expanding its parcel machine network next week, starting in Kullamaa village in Lääne County. A total of 43 new locations across Estonia have already been confirmed. Omniva is now inviting communities to propose additional locations where parcel machines are needed.

“Omniva’s goal is to develop a dense, close-to-home parcel machine network across Estonia, making e-commerce – increasingly preferred by customers – fast and convenient everywhere. We are moving forward at full speed towards a future where every settlement in Estonia has its own parcel machine, and in larger areas the nearest parcel machine is within slippers distance of every home,” said Martti Kuldma, CEO of Omniva.

“The first new locations are in villages and small towns across Estonia. Next, we will continue bringing parcel machines closer to homes both in rural areas and cities,” Kuldma added.

Once installation dates are confirmed, Omniva will inform local residents about the opening, collection times, and usage instructions via its website and, where possible, through local municipalities and media.

Where else are parcel machines needed in Estonia?

Omniva welcomes proposals from local governments, community organisations, and individuals on where parcel machines would be most needed and useful. Suggestions can be submitted here.

“Many of the new locations already confirmed have been identified in cooperation with local municipalities, as local communities best understand where demand exists – where people receive parcels but no parcel machine is yet available, and which locations are part of daily routes and therefore most convenient,” said Tanel Raun, Product Manager for Parcel Machines at Omniva. “Suggestions are very welcome from both rural and urban areas.”

Omniva evaluates community proposals alongside its own data to select the next locations for network expansion.
