The CEO of CTT, Guy Pacheco, was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Post Corporation (IPC) during the General Shareholders' Meeting held this Thursday, May 28, in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

For a three-year term, Guy Pacheco was elected representing operators from the Southern Alps (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia and Romania).

As part of a group of eleven CEOs from some of the world's most influential operators, you will actively participate in defining, monitoring, and implementing key projects led by the IPC, which have a decisive impact on the future of the postal and e-commerce logistics sector globally.

“It is with great satisfaction that I join the IPC Board, at a critical moment for the sector, marked by the acceleration of e-commerce and a demanding geopolitical context. Cooperation between operators, both bilateral and multilateral, will be crucial to responding to the common challenges we share, and CTT is well positioned to contribute with more efficient and future-oriented solutions on an international scale,” says Guy Pacheco.

Founded in 1989, the International Post Corporation (IPC) has played a key role in defining standards for service quality and performance, as well as in developing technological solutions that enable its members to improve international mail, parcel, and express services.

Bringing together 24 of the most important postal operators in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, the IPC represents approximately 80% of the world's mail volume, corresponding to more than 336 billion letters per year.
