11-06-2026

From 1 July 2026, the exemption from customs duties for shipments worth up to EUR 150 arriving from countries outside the European Union will be abolished, and a fixed customs duty of EUR 3 will be introduced for each item of the shipment imported into the EU.

The purchase of goods online from countries outside the European Union (so-called third countries such as China, the USA, the UK) is subject to mandatory customs supervision and customs clearance procedures upon import into the EU. Goods that already have the status of Union goods (purchased within the EU or for which customs duties have already been paid in another member state) are not subject to repeated collection of customs duties and taxes.

All information on the new customs rules is available on the website of the Customs Administration of the Republic of Croatia
