Bpost and Verisure are joining forces to make home security accessible to all. Starting on 1 July, customers will be able to request Verisure security services at the post office. The partnership is part of Bpost’s ambition to transform its post offices into service hubs that are close to every citizen.

Bpost’s post offices remain, in many municipalities, one of the last places where people can still access services in person. By expanding the range of services available across its 655 locations, Bpost aims to provide added value for all citizens. Making home security accessible to everyone fits perfectly within this vision.

Security services across the country

From 1 July onwards, Bpost will roll out a Verisure offering across its post office network. Post office staff at the counter will be able to offer Verisure security services, identifying potential improvements to the security of the customer's home, as well as discounts on installation fees. The initiative will be launched in the first 50 Bpost post offices on 1 July, with the rollout to all 655 post offices scheduled to be completed by the end of September.

Tina Hernalsteen, Director Retail & Banking at Bpost: “For Bpost, home security is a natural extension of the services we already offer, such as our moving service and our mail hold service, which customers can request when relocating or when they are away from home for an extended period. In this way, Bpost aims to remain a supportive partner for people during key moments in their lives.”

By partnering with Verisure, Bpost has chosen a trusted and widely established provider of home security solutions. Verisure is the Belgian market leader in monitored alarm systems and serves 6.3 million customers worldwide. With 13 branches strategically located across Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia, the company is well positioned to provide its services throughout the country.

Vincent Rousseau, Managing Director at Verisure: “In 2024, 45.421 burglaries were recorded in Belgium, representing nearly one burglary every 12 minutes. But protecting a home is about more than preventing intrusions. Fires, domestic accidents and other emergency situations are also among the risks families may face. Through Bpost’s extensive local network, we want to make security more accessible and enable more Belgians to benefit from personalized advice to protect what matters most to them.”
