Unisend, a parcel delivery network operated by Lithuanian Post, has opened a new logistics center in Latvia, investing nearly 2 million euros. The modern parcel sorting center will strengthen the company's logistics capabilities, allow it to serve growing parcel flows even more efficiently, and create conditions for further e-commerce development in the Baltic States.

The new logistics center, located in Riga, in the Dreiliniai district, covers an area of 4,532 sq. meters. It is planned to install modern sorting equipment in the fall, which will allow it to process up to 60 thousand shipments per day. This is 8-15 times more capacity than the company had until now.

The new center is designed to ensure smoother parcel movement, greater operational efficiency, and flexibility during peak periods. This will allow for even faster and more reliable service for both private and business customers.

When planning the new logistics center, the aim was to create not only an efficient working environment, but also comfortable conditions for employees. The center features modern work and recreation areas for the operations department, functional premises, and workplaces designed to ensure safe, comfortable and smooth daily activities.

In the first half of 2026, more than 13 million parcels were delivered in the Baltic States via the LP EXPRESS and Unisend networks. The network of Lithuanian Post parcel machines, through which you can conveniently send and collect parcels, already consists of more than 1,500 parcel machines in the Baltic region.
