When a parcel sets off for its destination, there is an entire network of operations behind the delivery. Transport between logistics centers, volume handling capacity and route organization influence the efficiency of the process. More space, more flexibility
The integration of the 24 trucks and 12 trailers adds approximately 1,670 cubic meters and 420 tons to the transport capacity. Each assembly can take up to 32 euro pallets, allowing for the transport of larger volumes in a single trip.
This additional capacity provides more flexibility in planning shipments and managing volume variations between logistics centers. For customers, the investment contributes to a network better prepared to pick up and transport packages efficiently, even when demand increases.
Technology for safer operations
Modern assistance and safety systems support drivers, and a five-year, unlimited mileage warranty supports long-term operation. The new vehicles complement investments in 80 vans introduced in the fleet modernization program.
At the national level, the Romanian Post operates over 1,000 vehicles, serving all 41 counties and the municipality of Bucharest. The consolidation of high-capacity transport strengthens connections between regions and supports the organization of parcel flows.
