Posti has released its 2025 Sustainability Review “Solutions for climate, value from circularity”. The review brings together the most significant progress in environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and efforts to accelerate the circular economy during the past year. It complements the recently published Annual Report by offering a practical and comprehensive overview of Posti’s sustainability work and the solutions developed in close collaboration with customers and partners.

Customer case examples demonstrate how Posti’s logistics solutions have improved efficiency, reduced environmental impacts, and strengthened customers’ business performance. The collaboration shows that sustainability and competitiveness go hand in hand.

Strong progress in all sustainability focus areas

Emission reductions

Posti’s own emissions decreased by 25 percent in 2025 compared to the previous year. Compared to 2020, company’s own emissions have already fallen by 59 percent. This means Posti has reached its SBTi-aligned short-term reduction target for its own emissions five years ahead of schedule. The share of fossil-free vehicles increased across all vehicle categories.

Circular economy solutions

Posti supports business customers in building and scaling circular economy services across the entire value chain. In 2025, we processed tens of thousands of used or unsold products, from electronics and clothing to furniture, giving them a new life. These circular solutions help generate measurable value for our customers, reduce the need for virgin raw materials, and support the growth of sustainable business.

People’s well-being and safety

Social responsibility efforts focused on the safety and well-being of both Posti’s own employees and those of our partners. During the past year, we carried out more than 90,000 safety observations and reduced workplace accidents by nearly one fifth. We continued leadership trainings under the Caring Leader program and supported partners in strengthening occupational safety and human rights practices to ensure responsible and consistent operations throughout the value chain.
