We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our Technology Department and lead the design and evolution of IPC’s Customer Experience (CX) layer, with a strong focus on customer facing applications, Business Intelligence (BI) applications and dashboards. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring scalable, intuitive, and high performing digital experiences and insights across all customer touchpoints.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Solutions Architect in both customer-facing digital platforms and BI/analytics environments as well as a strong expertise in modern application architecture (microservices, APIs, cloud-native solutions). He/She should demonstrate hands-on experience with BI tools and dashboarding platforms and be familiar with AI/ML integration and AIassisted
development tools.

The Solution Architect reports to the Head of Technology Solutions.

Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities can include (but are not limited to):

  1. Solution Design & Architecture (Customer-Facing Applications & BI Portfolio)
    • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the customer-facing application landscape, including web, mobile, portals, BI applications, and dashboards.
    • Define and enforce architectural standards, design principles, and best practices across both transactional applications and analytical platforms.
    • Ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability of both web applications and BI/reporting solutions.
    • Lead architectural governance and design reviews for new initiatives and ongoing enhancements.
    • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to translate architecture into actionable implementation plans.
  2. Customer Experience & Business Interface
    • Act as the primary interface between technology teams and business stakeholders to understand customer service needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Service, and Analytics teams to shape seamless, user-centric experiences and insight-driven decision tools.
    • Align CX and BI solutions with business goals, customer journeys, and service design strategies.
    • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to capture requirements and define solution roadmaps.
  3. Data Visualization, BI & Insights Enablement
    • Define architecture for integrating advanced data visualization capabilities into both customer facing platforms and internal BI applications.
    • Design and govern dashboards and reporting solutions that deliver clear, actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with data teams to enable real-time and batch data consumption for analytics and visualization.
    • Ensure consistency, usability, and performance of dashboards across platforms.
    • Promote best practices in data storytelling and visualization standards.
  4. AI-Supported Development & Intelligent Experiences
    • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development processes (e.g., code generation, testing automation, design optimization).
    • Identify opportunities to embed AI capabilities into both customer-facing applications and BI tools (e.g., personalization, predictive analytics, smart insights).
    • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models and services into the CX and BI architecture.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to improve delivery speed and product quality.
  5. Integration & Ecosystem Architecture
    • Design robust integration patterns between the CX/BI layer and backend systems (CRM, ERP, data platforms, third-party services).
    • Ensure API-first and event-driven architecture principles are followed.
    • Enable seamless data pipelines supporting both operational applications and analytical use cases.
    • Manage dependencies across systems and ensure consistent data flow and service orchestration.
  6. Leadership & Collaboration
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, developers, and data engineers.
    • Influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment on architecture decisions.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and technology roadmaps across both application and analytics domains.
    • Support vendor and partner evaluations where relevant.

Your profile

Education

  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Expertise and Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical and analytical solutions.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Experience with CX platforms, headless architectures, or composable commerce.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and visualization best practices.
  • Experience with real-time analytics and streaming data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
