On 23 September, Holger Winklbauer joined the inauguration of the new sorting centre of Croatian Post in Velika Gorica, near Zagreb.

The new sorting centre gathers business from four different locations with a total of 1500 employees. The new centre comprises of an automated parcel sorting system alongside a letter sorting system and a new data centre. 

Holger Winklbauer, CEO of IPC said: “It was an honour to be invited to the inauguration of the new sorting centre. Croatian Post’s commitment to innovation and growth fits very well in IPC’s long term strategy and we therefore reiterate our warm welcome to Croatian Post within the IPC community”. 

This new sorting centre is the largest investment of Croatian Post, in line with its Post2022 strategy. The next important project will be the creation of a digital mailbox for every citizen.
