The growth was driven by the continued strengthening of the e-commerce market, new business customers, and the consistent expansion of the parcel locker network in the region.
"The record number of parcels delivered through the LP EXPRESS network shows that customers value speed, reliability and simplicity. In the near future, we will continue to expand the network of parcel machines across the country and look for solutions that would make sending and receiving parcels even easier. This is our promise - Send. Receive. Easily," says Ruslanas Prokofjevas, Head of the Business and Technology Development Department of Lithuanian Post.
During this year, the LP EXPRESS network has expanded not only in Lithuania, but also in the neighboring Baltic countries. 54 new parcel machines were installed in Lithuania, and another 174 in Latvia and Estonia, where the network operates under the name "Unisend". Among the new locations in Lithuania where the first LP EXPRESS parcel machines appeared this year are Užliedžiai, Senieji Trakai, Kalveliai, Vydmantai, Kretingalė, Kairiai, Kvėdarna and Jieznas.
In accordance with the requirements approved by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, starting next year, the LP EXPRESS network will be expanded to smaller settlements. This will allow more and more residents to conveniently send and receive parcels without leaving their homes. The expansion of post offices will take place in stages until the end of 2028.
Lithuanian Post is also testing new technological solutions that will help to further increase network availability in the regions. Starting from the first quarter of 2026, settlements where new LP EXPRESS parcel machines will be installed during the year will be announced annually.
By the end of this year, the Lithuanian Post network will have almost 1,500 parcel lockers operating in the Baltic States, of which more than 500 will be in Lithuania.
