IPC is currently looking for a PMO Analyst to support the Head of Program and Change Management in delivery, including coordination, planning, control, reporting, analysis, and insights, as well as delivering PMO initiatives.

Job description

We are seeking a PMO Analyst to report to the Head of Programme and Change Management. The Programme Management Office is the information hub for projects, programmes and change management. It involves tracking/reporting, assurance/quality control, information management, financial tracking, risk/issue tracking, change control, support, knowledge management/learning, and promoting continuous improvement.

The purpose of the PMO Analyst role is to support the Head of Program and Change Management in delivery, including coordination, planning, control, reporting, analysis, and insights, as well as delivering PMO initiatives.

Job specifications 

  • Support in the planning and implementation of project and change management strategies based on templates and toolsets.
  • Monitoring existing projects and change management requests to ensure timely execution and completion.
  • Gathering and analysing project or change management data to identify weaknesses and resolve time-related or budgetary issues.
  • Liaising with business and IT project team members and providing suggestions or solutions to unforeseen issues when needed.
  • Preparing accurate and detailed KPI and Project status reports for management review.
  • Ensuring all project and change management processes comply with IPCs company standards.

Experience

  • A proven understanding of Project Management with a preference for lean or agile methodologies.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a PMO analyst, project manager, or a similar role
Qualifications and skills
  • Excellent knowledge of project management strategies, processes, and tools.
  • A good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to translate technical language into common user-based language.  
  • Ability to analyse complex data and make decisions and recommendations based on analytical findings.
  • Great Microsoft 365 skills and knowledge of PMO software tools, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong programme coordination and administration abilities.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in oral and written English at all levels of an organisation professionally.
