Driven by strong growth in B2C e-commerce volumes, as well as increased air cargo demand, UPS’ total revenue increased 14% in 2020.

The company saw strong revenue and parcel volume growth for both SMEs and large customers in 2020, with SME volumes increasing 15% in the US. Higher delivery costs for residential volumes and an increased delivery workforce drove down group profitability, as did costs related to the sale of UPS Freight announced in early 2021.
