German-based multi-carrier delivery platform LetMeShip has introduced a new all-in-one device for parcel shipping called “Parcelkiosk“ in Germany which will be presented at the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart from 13 to 15 March. Based on software, the sizing and measuring device provides a complete system for handling parcels for post offices, parcel terminals, parcel shops and offices which includes sizing, weighing, pricing and labelling. Thanks to digital scales and ultrasonic sensors, measuring and weighing is conducted in a fully automatic way. The accuracy of data is ensured and errors in the dispatch data can thus be reduced to a minimum. The data is fed directly into LetMeShip's shipping service provider interface via the directly connected software Parcelrate. A shipping service provider can thus be selected in an automatic way based on the measured data. By connecting a label printer (A4 or thermal label), the process can be further automated.
