GLS Belgium has expanded its parcel delivery network enabling its customers to send and receive parcel from 170 Cubee parcel terminals which are now part of the GLS parcel shop network. With the addition of the terminals, shippers and recipients can use a total of 600 GLS locations across Belgium. The Cubee parcel machines are usually operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Luc De Schrijver, GLS General Manager Belux, commented: “Our parcel shop network is the hub for parcel services in the private customer sector and for companies with small shipping volumes: customers can send here their parcels via the GLS network. At the same time, the shops optimise the last mile as recipients can also use them as an alternative delivery address."
