UPS yesterday officially opened a new £120 million London Hub, one of its biggest-ever infrastructure investments outside the United States, to gear up for further growth in the UK and in cross-border trade with mainland Europe. Located at the DP World London Gateway Logistics Park, the 32,000 sqm package sorting and delivery facility will act as a UK package processing hub and distribution centre for the local area as well as a gateway to UPS’s global logistics network, with capacity to process up to 28,000 packages per hour and room for further expansion.
